[Archive] Ishkur's Chaos Space Marines (pic heavy)

Ghrask Dragh:

hear you say "OK but why did he not simply put them on square bases?" Well, have you ever tried to get them to rank up properly?! Impossible, I say! With the round bases in this clever piece of chaos dwarven engineering, I can turn them a little where necessary - and it works great.

Ishkur

Hm.. can't see what's supposed to be wrong with the pictures. Maybe you should reset your monitor? :) Or is anyone else experiencing 'unnatural darkness'...?

WOW This is amazing, i might trie this for my future nurgle deamon army, enabling me to play both 40k/wfb with the same miniatures, great engineering, i defently love ur spider exept the multi barreled cannon, it needs more support to look realistic

Ishkur Cinderhat:

Hah, time to pull this thread from its slumber. A painting contest in a local games store was the ideal excuse for painting up my World Eaters General. While he was built almost a year ago, I never got round to paint him.

Perturabo:

Oooh, nice! Liking the glowiness (I believe that is the technical term :P) around his head and the Jugger’s eyes. Very cool conversion.

tjub:

Another one of Ishkurs masterclass!

Canix:

Now that is COOL! those red and green effects are really nice :hat off

clam:

Always a pleasure seeing a Ishkur Painting Masterclass. Have always loved the way you do reds - and the red/green gives it a unique look - not to mention the wethering  Very well done, ‘Sir’.

Heheh, indeed having grown up during Games Workshop's infamous "red phase" must have left some impression on me. ;)

clam:

warh:

Contest ends in one week. I was told I have good chances to make it into the top three, but nothing else so far. Too bad it won't be a CDO medal in any case! ;)

EDIT: build one too, warh! This guy totally rocked in the first battle, he annihilated a whole squad of Imperials and a unit of Ogryns all by himself. :o
