Long time lurker here who is slowly buying the models for a future chaos dwarf army. I’m very much in love with the Spirit Hosts that came out with the Nagash book and have been trying to find ways to incorparate them in one of my armies.
(Skaven, Chaos Daemons and now Chaos Dwarves)
I always go all out when it comes to conversions having parts made for me by a 3D modelling friend printed, or sculpting commisioned etc.
I don’t mind spending a lot of money to have some originality in my army.
Now I was wondering:
What has to be changed/converted/added for this model to work as a K’daai Fireborn? Is it even possible to make them work?
Really, it’s up to you. If you’re not that fussed (and nor are your opponents) then you can probably get away with no more than a fiery paint job, like this:
As noted by others in that thread though, these look more like escaped fire demons than bound ones. A kitbash between those and Chaos Warriors or Necrons may work well though, if you want something more ambitious.
