Alright, I plotted these guys out in my mind a ways back, made 2 then sat on the project. Now I’ve got to get the unit done for a tournament so time to pick up the pace

These are made from the Minotaur kits combined with Blood crusher bits sniped off ebay.









This guy is my favorite



I was never a big fan of the minotaurs, but I think the torso is perfect for represent a demon encase in metal just about to explode.  

I’m going to paint flames in the muscle cracks, similar to the WIP destroyer I have in this picture (McFarlen Taurus thingy that others have used as well)

How did you remove the mino legs? Much Hacking?

No problemo .  

I had to clip the legs off the Blood Crushers, and add some green stuff cloth, but that was not too hard. Also fliped the hooves on the other side of some of the blood crusher legs.

Here they are base coated






Overall not too trickey of a conversion, I have parts to make 4 more, but I need to wrap these 4 up pronto for an upcomming tournament.
How did you remove the mino legs?  Much Hacking?

I used this precision Tool, lol



the legs actual came off very clean, it just took a lot of pressure, and well a few minutes to find all the pieces after they flew across the room.

I can see the juggernaut head AND mino horns?

Thats pretty much it. pretty simple conversion really. Not that pricey either, minotaur kits are pretty cheap on ebay these days, and you can buy just the blood crusher legs and heads there too for not too much.

I’m currently painting him up myself. I painted his fur bronse, but your fire colours seems much better :slight_smile:

Sure thing. Not sure who was first to use that model, but I saw on this guys blog first:

His whole army is really really nice. I saw in his Plog though that he made two of them ! I bet his friends loved that, lol

I am going with a blue toned metal thing, so I went a differnt painting direction.

So far I have just primed, inked and then painted the flames. Its far enough along for me to know I will stick with this scheme, but I have a lot of work to do on this guy.



Don’t worry, he is not going to be shooting snot balls! Those will eventually be flames shooting out his snouts.

Ok Here are the latest. I need to add some layers to these guys for another tournament.









What I’d like to do is layer the armor and weapons and add some flame trails to the weapons.

Also I really want to work on their backs a bit. I want to make the bulgs look like stressed metal, like they are just about to pop. Anyone have any ideas on how I can pull that off?

Love those fiery stomps. It makes them look like their feet have just pounded down. I may have to borrow your K’Daii idea with some of my own alterations.
