Been busy building up a forgeworld chaos dwarf army lately.
I’ve decided I want a horde (40 models for those who don’t play kow) of slave orcs. What models would best represent slave orcs. I’m leaning towards current gw black orcs (now known as ardboys). But I’d be interested in hearing which models people think best represent slave orcs keeping in mind I’m using FW chaos dwarfs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’d have to go with GW Savage Orcs, the old or new ones. I’ve got a few here awaiting use as slave labour for warmachines, etc. They don’t have much on, so that fits the slave idea. They’d require a bit of conversion to look best, getting rid of the stones and horns, etc. This would be easy to cover up with chains and the like though. They also have some useful poses that can be used for hoisting up large Chaos Dwarf things, or being strung up by their hands etc.
Kromlech also has bitz for sale that can be used (Savage Orc torsos and misc Orc heads).

I really think the MOM miniatures Orcs have the best slave orc vibe. They are pretty considerably ugly and scared, and some of them have these face enclosing helms with haphazard vent/sight holes drilled in that gives a real impression of being slaves (almost reminds me of like horse facial barding in style). Their gear also has a nice scavenged feel to it that works pretty well (not hard to find amongst orc models though I�?Tll admit).
