Mantic just released pics of an upcoming Minotaur for their new evil dungen crawl game, League of Infamy. At least that’s what Ive understood it as, anyway the Minotaur itself could work well for us. I imagine some glowing runes etc on it.
…also on a totally side related note, the upcoming Rat Ogre in League of Infamy seems to have a curly beard as well as some “dwarfy” themed outfit. Give the Kings of War lore where Ratmen are a creation of the Abyssal Dwarfs, could we hope for new units or concepts as allies?

I think that Minotaur could work well as a Minotaur-Llamasu hybrid if it was given a curly beard.
Nice spotting of the ROgre�?Ts hair styling; Ratmen slaves/allies would be a nice way to distinguish Abyssal Dwarves from Chaos Dwarfs while still adhering to the slavemaster theme.
Nice one, thanks for sharing tjub! Intriguing take with ratmen as creations of Abyssal Dwarves. I just love how the new fantasy settings are starting to fan out and come up with their own ideas and takes on the Chaos Dwarf archetype.
Made in resin and for their Abyssal Dwarf release in February! I assume an updated Abyssal Dwarf roster for Vanguard as well as alot of updates to the entire range of Mantics Abyssal Dwarfs!
The Mobila Katsuchan acts as fire support in Vanguard, but also buffs a unit of Decimators for KoW3 with a long range attack.
I know I'm repeating myself, but I really like these new Abyssal Dwarf concepts a lot! :D

Im eager to see what they will do for the centaur options, and hopefully some new models/concepts as well. Since they are about to release KoW 3rd ed any moment now and update our Vanguard war band as well.
Interesting piece and I really like the more dwarfish proportions of these new ones. Really didnt like the frist edt. plastic dwarfs with their resin upgrades . Looked really “top heavy” - and not due to hats - but dis-proportioned upper body (head and Torso).
Existing threads merged and hijacked into a Kings of War Abyssal Dwarf Mega-Thread, akin to what we already sport for T9A Infernal Dwarves (will hijack some for AoS Dawi Zharr as well).
These big threads are for the need of Chaos Dwarfs Online to register in the top search results for evil dwarfs in the various new settings. Please keep most new Abyssal Dwarf discussion to this thread. New Abyssal Dwarf topics which do not necessarily need a stand-alone thread will be merged with this one.

I’m really loving these new Mantic miniatures (so much better than FW). They have perfect facial expressions of contempt, and those ratkin are really nice!
This is the first time I’ve seen the sprues, they look excellent, and the guns look awesome. I will definitely get these, looking forward to painting them up.

I really hope to see some more Fuggit Khan conversions in the future! I know there's a small KoW scene in Malaysia so Im sure there must be some players in Thailand as well? If not, you have a mission to recruit! :cheers
