Now THERE are some useful fantasy scenery kits. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve long wondered why GW haven’t released a Dwarf mine and brewery, or Elf tower. Now the competitor claims the niche.
Dînadan:
Actually GW did do a dwarf mine, but it was a long time ago like 15 years I think.

I also like the personalized movement trays. In KoW you don’t remove casualties apparently (never played the game neither read the rules), so you can build beautiful and characterful trays/bases for your units…
Admiral:
That old GW mine was slightly before my entry into the hobby, and it must have been a limited edition resin piece, not a plastic kit that was a permanent part of their range.
Yep, really nice movement trays! KoW also means you don’t have to chip off paint by constantly picking at your carefully converted and painted models when removing them as individual casaulties. This rubbing off of paint from sharp edges despite layers of varnish is almost unavoidable with metal Chaos Dwarf minis, since the fat blighters are so close to the ground you mostly cannot touch the base without touching the CD.

Can't recall what it was made of and don't think it was a limited release (no more than any terrain they've made is).

they did a bunch of vaccum formed plastic pre-painted scenery. I think temple of skulls , dwarf stronghold, ruined chaos tower and smaller bits like barricades and stone walls, craters etc. Its thin hollow plastic very light. they did do a nice pre-painted resin ruined cathedral for wh40k as well which was like a brick, so heavy (it was either heavy resin or ceramic?) and had the stain glass plastic detailing, that was really really nice (best scenery piece ever made?) they are all still floating around on ebay fairly cheaply now and again
Abecedar:
I think that the Mantic tavern / bar is actually a bit small
Dînadan:
I think that the Mantic tavern / bar is actually a bit smallIt's a dwarf tavern. They're like icebergs - 90% are underground/water ;P

Styrofoam like. There was a grave yard as well. They may had done some kind of hill too. Although I can't say for sure we didn't get ours from some other place.

They also did some vacuform plastics, craters mostly IIRC.
