Ok well i have decided that my new CD army will be themed on a supply landtrain, Perhaps shipping new resources to the front line or carrying cargo across the dark lands, So to start i will have the iron deamon on the front, Dread Mortar in the mid and probably a magma cannon at the end.
But i want something in between the iron demon & dread mortar, some kind of troop carrier that could hold around 60 chaos dwarfs which i can use in the game as a Folding Fortress, Issue is what i can use.
Is there any type of 1/32 or 28mm Train kit available you guys have seen that can be the base of a conversion, Needs to be a good size, Like a carriage from a normal stream train.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

From memory, you’d be looking at something between HO and O scale, probably O scale for the chunkier heroic scale image. Unfortunately, they aren’t exactly cheap. Here’s a candidate I found while looking for conversion parts for a CD train of my own:

Im looking for it to be closed with a roof so i can have a 2nd level to put guys on.
EDIT : Wow they are expensive, I can't spend that on a risk they won't line up, I was thinking some kind of airfix kit XD

Are there any ‘model railroad’ enthusiasts where you live? I went to a model show put on by a club of model railroaders last year, and it was almost like a flea market of old trains and parts. Most of the cars they were selling them were VERY cheap.
Perhaps you could find something there that would work and be a lot less expensive!

My army will consist of what would typically be on the train, Nothing to special, flaming demons wouldn't exactly support a small train.
So except the train parts it will basically be normal troops that would dismount out of the carriage to defend the flanks from attack, So im thinking 1 infantry company ( About 80 ) Few characters & around 20 Hobgoblin wolf rider auxiliary as scouts.
It would be a pretty big army but i don't think giants, flying bulls and bull centaurs would be hangin around supply trains, Do yo?

I think it was “grimstone”? that had a set of rules drawn up for a carriage full of support troops somewhere.

I personally see the Great taurus's as sacred creatures only used in great wars.

In the book wulfrik, after wulfrik has escaped the chaos dwarf stronghold and is getting on his ship that is on the docked on the river ruin. As he is leaving wulfrik spots a glimmer of armour in the distance of what he thinks is a giant bull looking for them, he forgets about it as post battle fatigue.
