I think you should paint your forgeworld converted battle standard bearer next, because that's an awesome conversion!

Agrh! Conception changes :( I will redraw concept art again: pick instead of hammer, new helm and facemask, new banner.
How you think what better: cloth banner or huge metal icon?

A cool metal icon wouldn’t leave much place for individuality in the battle standard. So a classic cloth banner where you can show of your painting skills would be great.

Perhaps it could be made, so that you don’t really have to attach the banner and could use only the icon.

I know Malorn like to print banners of paper. But I really think free hand is the way to go. So sculpt a banner.

If you go with a clothbanner, it would be spectacular to have the option of not using it, but thats probably an insane amount of work?

Helm from Russian Alternative's chaos dwarf (HW/Sh unit). I just cut off beard and tail.
Shield from GW's plastic marauders (on foot). I use both footman's and horseman's shields.

I received my 4th limited Propher-Sorcerer and again his helm bit is broken. Shame on you Forgewold! :mad

I will convert it when paint it and when sell it off to buy some whiskey (and cure my soul with it)

Too bad about the broken helmet bits, but that Magma Cannon container is a masterwork! Best of luck next time with Golden Hat, too. Don’t be afraid to ask for an extra month of deadline when the next GH contest comes around. It’d be a shame if the deadline was too narrow for you to enter every time. :wink:
