Hello COD! Or the members there of. I have returned from a 6-8 (Can’t remember) hiatus from Warhammer and I am trying to get back with the Short and bearded crowd… On the right side of the mountains.
I am still getting back into things with writing army lists (and I never was great with the Chaos Dwarves) so I could really use any advice.
The idea is my Wolf Raider cruise missile rushes out, dealing with chaff, forerunners or what ever else could be coming and then either split up into groups, engaging several units for a turn or two (hoping for challenges here) or just get into whatever Deathstary-thing/big gribblie I don’t feel comfortable facing, while the real Dawi Zharr and the luckier slaves blast away at a distance.
Yeah I am not a big fan of either Ka’daii. When ever I tried them out they never, ever worked out. Fireborn burned out in a matter of turns and the destroyer never did well either. So they are out.
Having played a few games (Not all of them til the end but they were heading about the same) and while the list did fill all my demands for it (fun and different from my warriors) I found some aspects lacking so I have done a slight rejig, mainly based on tactical advice from CDOs deep dark vaults.

I am hoping the Ironsworn Block will give me a nice hammer to add to my two anvils.
I found the Daemonsmith had a hard time dealing with some Warmachine hunters so a Naptha bomb filled that nicely.
I also got bored of my characters getting minced by Combat lords so I am hoping my prophets new toys might level the playingfield.
