Geist:

First off please sticky this thread. As this will be the living bible of all things Chaos Dwarf.

I shall begin this thread in the manner of any thread that is needed for the purpose of expanding education and in general benefit of all that play the evil.

Lords

Only 1 choice. Lets start with the pros/cons.

Pros

Tough, good caster, free magic weapon, good gear.

Cons

fewer attacks than most lord levels, his weapon skill and strength are below average. InI=dwarf ie slow as hell. Can only get a 2+ armour save.

Gear.

Blood of Hashut is a must, pistol is ok but meh(would a repeating pistol really be too much?), naphtha bomb meh pricey and not overly impressive unless your tossing it swarms. Darkforge weapon and blackshard armour both very good.

Overall round up.

B+ on the grade scale of A++ to F. Hes stout hard to kill and a good caster, but lacks punch in hand to hand. Also why does he not give stubborn?

Heros.

Will start on this one latter. For now this is the tease and want to see what others have to say and if this thing gets a sticky.

What’s a sticky?

This message was automatically appended because it was too short.

Nicodemus:

@ Marduk - Changing the properties of a post to ‘sticky’ means it’s kind of like a post-it note, and it will stay at the top of a subforum and not get buried.

@Geist - Check out the website news for the Daemonsmith’s handbook.  We will be covering all of the entries in the Legion of Azgorh Lord and Hero categories in due course as part of a CDO-wide project that is currently running, and will wrap up by the end of the year.  After a great blood sacrifice to Hashut, and consulting the burning entrails :hashut I foresee these topics will be covered in great detail in less than a month here on CDO! :hat off

Grimbold Blackhammer:

I’d hardly think someone stating his opinion on a subject, right or wrong, demands an arbitrary sticky.

Damn dude, I am just trying to get a living bible started that highlights the pros and cons of each unit. Its not a matter of my opinion. Its a matter of we could benefit from a living bible like over at Druchii.net If you wanna be an arse about it…

If you're looking for pros and cons of each unit this might be helpful.

Geist:

Credit where Credit is due, thats very well done. Now lets break it down to magic items, main lore. Tactics, builds, tricks, what units to field in what sizes. Which options work which ones dont. Go to Druchii.net and take a look at there article called the Dache or however its spelled. It’s huge massive and covers every thing from items to common asked rules questions.

Well I have been meaning to add a section for magic items and the lore of hashut for a while but haven't gotten round to it. However Tactics, builds unit sizes and like are currently being developed in the new Daemonsmith handbook threads to eventually be collated, as said by Nicodemus earlier. So why don't you add your tactics, builds and ideas to these threads over the weeks.

Thanks Richard! NOW it's clear.

How do I change the properties of a post to a sticky? I can't find this anywhere.

Marduk
Only Admins are able to sticky a thread, if they deem it worthy.

Thanks!

Hashut’s Blessing:

Mods can too.

Geist - the Daemonsmith’s Handbook is pretty much what you’re describing anyhow. Jump in on those threads
