Grimbold Blackhammer:

I’m wondering how most folks place their Magma Cannon templates when they fire.  I’ve been placing mine with the tip barely touching the second rank so that I’m almost always hitting something even with a bounce.  Do most folks do it that way or do they go for the perfect hit/maximum coverage and then take the bounce (which can mean a total miss with a decent bounce)?

Maybe the best is 1 inch from the front of the unit, but depends of the depth of the targetting unit.
