Satan:
So, I got some Fireglaives second hand and was thinking about magnetizing their hands in order to maximise their use so I could use them as regular infernal guard as well.
Has anyone else done this? What magnets did you use?

Da Crusha:
I have done it with my blood bowl team. I magnetized my chaos dwarfs at the wrist so they can get the claw mutation upgrade. I used these magnets and they worked perfectly.
you have to use a very small drill bit and make sure they go in the right direction. I also used magnets on both sides rather than magnet to steel, for a stronger bond.
Grimstonefire:
What I’ve done is magnetise the shield upper arm, put a loop of wire in the lower shield arm. The hand weapon arm I’ve just pinned so I can push it into the other arm. I could have just magnetised both.
The upper arm is much easier to magnetise than a wrist.
