I figured this would be just something fun to do that required very little effort and a lot of imagination. It’s not anonymous and anyone can enter once. Once the entries are gathered, there will be a straight poll on how much people like the model (the way it is painted, converted, jaunty angle of it’s hat, how well it fits the answers, how amusingly it is presented, etc) and how much they like the answers to the questions. If there are more models than the polls allow then I might do them in heats. Although it is called Miss CDO, I’m guessing the entries will be mostly male, but it is still ultimately a beauty pageant with an evil stunty twist.
Submit up to four pictures of a single painted model, which does not have to be made for the comp and can have previously participated in any other CDO comp. It must be of a Chaos Dwarf, Bull Centaur, Hobgoblin, slave of some kind (for any creature type that is not normally associated with the CD army, use your common sense to decide if your entry looks like a slave - if you aren’t sure then it is likely that the voters won’t rate you highly anyway), or Daemonic war machine (only the war machine is the entry, not the crew, although a crew member can be entered if it fits any of the other categories). You can use scenery, other models, the 1996 Denver Broncos, a Chevy coupe, anything really - for presentation purposes. Be as amusing/weird/suitable as you like, captions for the photos are allowed. Each picture may have the model presented differently. You must submit at least one picture.
The model must also answer the following questions in as truthful/amusing/depraved a way as they like:
1. What is your name?
2. What are your favourite hobbies/activities?
3. What are your future aspirations?
4. How would you use the winning of this competition to improve the world?
5. Anything else you like to add?
To summarise: Submit 1-4 pictures, plus answers to the five questions.
Submissions accepted until December 31st, then the poll will last a couple of weeks, or a little more if it needs to go into heats. Add the submissions to this thread.
