[Archive] Mordheim: Undead

astragoth:

The night belongs to the undead. And in Mordheim, it is always night…

Hi! Here is pictures of my new undead warband. It consists of 1 Vampire, 1 Necromancer, 3 Dregs, 1 Ghoul, 2 Dire Wolves and 3 zombies. (Sorry if some of the pictures got bad, I had a little trouble with getting the right light.)

This is my vampire (haven’t decided his name yet):

And this is his loyal companion, my necromancer (haven’t decided his name either):

Three dregs, some misguided survivors amongst Mordheims population:

My Ghoul, a member of the infameous flesh feaster tribe of the moot :

My two Dire Wolves, the Night Howlers:

And finally three zombies, just a few of those unfortunate to die in Mordheim:

This is my wyrdstone markers:

Here are the greens and unpainted models:

The necromancer (slightly converted empire battle wizard, the base was made using polysterene):

The zombies (converted from flagellants):

The Dregs (flagellants with dwarf miner backpacks and skelleton shields):

The Ghoul:

The Dire wolves:

Here is a picture of an unfinished building:

Thats it! Time to go and hunt for wyrdstone, draining corpses of blood, resurecting the dead and feast on the flesh of mortals.

Looking cool!

Can I ask two questions?

1. Are the blue bricks on the house polystyrene?

2. What’s the white stuff under the empire wizard / Necro?

Thanks!

And yes, it is polysterene. It is polysterene under the Nekromancer too. It must be painted first before undercouating to prevent it from melting, which is why part of it are painted black.

nitroglysarine:

Its odd it looks like snow.

astragoth:

I think it because of the light it looks like that, it is the same material.

ingtar_shinowa:

Nice start! with only 2 heros i think your exploration rolls might be lacking though. I love the buildings. Im using thin cardboard and glueing printed images from the D&D paper buildings, throw on a little sand on the edges and they look pretty good. All the buildings are offered free on their site, they are scaled with warhammer, and lastly, they have alot of ruined versions of thir stuff as well!!!

Thommy H:

Dregs are Heroes.

This message was automatically appended because it was too short.

richard barby:

i think Steve is a good name for a vampier. sounds nothing like a vampier thats why it would be so good

Xander:

Awesome stuff, love it all!

Abecedar:

Nice little warband, our club hasn’t had anyone doing mordheim but I’ve heard some say they miss it. my undead are still well basically dead (not built)

Loki:

Great work on the warband , really like the paint job that you have done on the ghoul
