Hello,

Here’s some more CD fluff I have had sitting around that me and my friends play in campaigns and what not.

Opinions welcomed.

Take care

AZERHAK THE INFERNAL HELLSMITH: DARK PROPHET OF UZKULAK

Among the great plains of the Dark Land?Ts lies the northern most seat of the pitiless Chaos Dwarf Empire. Zorn Uzkul and the Great Skull Lands are a cold a hostile place, long forgotten by Old World Dwarves, at the brink of Chaos near the Northern Wastes. Malign and twisted are the torn Skull Land?Ts as are its harrowed denizens, yet still within its barren soil lay the ever growing foul magic?Ts of Daemon Gods. Even further north, sheltered within the mountain precipice at the bow of the river Ruin you will find the misanthropic Chaos Dwarfs walled deep within the mighty fortress Uzkulak. Known both as an integral port to the Sea of Chaos and mighty stronghold to the empires of Kislev, fortress Uzkulak now ever more renown in infamy has become the diabolical abode and outpost of the Infernal Hellsmith Azerhak and his growing daemon host.

Behind Uzkulak?Ts obsidian bastions and thick forged iron walls, choked skies billow smoke from hundreds of blazing furnaces abound. Within this scorched citadel you will find high atop the fortress bulwarks the malefic tower of the Dark Prophet Azerhak, Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer Prophet and Proselyte of the Dark God Hashut. Although shrouded in secrecy and cryptic in his practice Azerhak has long been in unyielding pursuit to both master and control the very raw energies that comprise the fabric of daemons. Insolent in his position Azerhak has long been absolved from the casts of the Chaos Dwarfs in his impenetrable fortress north of the Skull Lands. Answering only to the Temple of Hashut and its coterie of high priests, Azerhak alone brings report of his occult experiments and progresses in regards to the bondage and subjugations of daemons. Considered even by Chaos Dwarfs to be a perilous recluse, to be feared more than trusted, Azerhak is respected, but far from welcomed by the organized ranks of the Chaos Dwarfs. But to his devout legion of warriors, Azerhak is a Prophet and Daemonsmith without equal, a Hellsmith beyond the feeble grasp of the recreants of Zharr-Naggrund.

Often engrossed in daemonic summoning, Azerhak has been known to befit rages of madness and stupor, perverted by his meddlings with such raw and dark magic?Ts. With his malign helm formerly adorned by the great Daemonsmith Ulzharr, Azerhak has proven all but immune to the debilitating effects of the cursed mantle. For this very archaism consumed and left insane its once renowned master, leaving Ulzharr nothing more than a gibbering and twisted heap. Yet still Azerhak?Ts uncanny ability to both control and assuage hell bound daemons and the fiery K?TDaai have furthered his ranks with an every growing abundance of twisted horrors the likes of which none seen a vast the distant and scattered kingdoms of the Chaos Dwarfs.

Both armed and preserved by his most baleful creations in battle, Azerhak?Ts hellbound arsenal lay to waste all who resist his inexorable grasp. Siphoning off the very energies of the perished, these devoured souls fuel Azerhak?Ts arcane workings, channeling the tortured animus his vile magic consumes into the very auspice that sustains him. Worst yet set atop his most sinister companion Erobus the Great Daemon Lammasu, Azerhak commands dwarf, beast and daemon alike. Under a menacing flag of fire and baleful arcana Azerhak hosts march onto battle, imbued and consumed by the hellish taint of the Dark God Hashut. And often heard whispered in the accursed Hellsmiths wake? the fell dwarf who conjures and rules the Dark Gods children is daemon kin to the Fire God Hashut himself.

?oSteel is but flesh and lava the blood within the Dark Forge Father Hashut. All will parish within his flame, scorched nil to ashen cider.?

Azerhak the Infernal Hellsmith

And the special rule “Crushing Charge” is simply 1 impact hit on a charge and +1 attack whilst charging. Monstrous mounts have D3 impact hits instead of 1.

This was a fun read, I love fluff and enjoy your creativity. But just a friendly recommendation…you might want to double check your spelling:

?oSteel is but flesh and lava the blood within the Dark Forge Father Hashut. All will parish within his flame, scorched nil to ashen cider.?

Animatone
parish and perish are pretty different, as is cider and cinder (but maybe Chaos Dwarfs drink ashen cider :cheers)

Again, it was a fun read and looking forward to more army fluff from you :hat off
