It has been a long time since I posted anything on this forum and I forgot my login/ID and couldn’t sign back in as Sho’Nuff, but I didn’t have much under that account anyway. I have been tinkering with my chaos dwarf army for the better part of a year, painting and converting whenever life allowed. I still have some unpainted models, but the entire army that I am bringing to OwlCon in a couple of weeks is complete!
I am not the best painter, but I enjoy building models and seeing a finished army. I even decided to make a display board to carry the army on between rounds Have a look at the army if you would like. I will post a detailed army list in a more appropriate forum. Thanks for checking out my pics.
That's an awesome army dude! Just out of curiosity, which base have you used for your Iron Daemon?
Skink
Thanks for the kind words. The ID base is actually several smaller bases glued together to make a 80x120 base. I used green stuff to fill in the gaps. The rules on this forum say to use a 60x100 base, but it just didn't look good. I went a bit bigger for aesthetics and if my opponent gets a few extra attacks then so be it. I mean, after all, it is T8W8 with a 3+, so I am not that worried. :P
Very good looking army man! I love the fiery cracks in the machines and armor. Really good!
If you right click the photos and "copy image url" and insert that link into these, your pictures will show in the post.
The shedu head on your defiler works well - cool destroyer man.

Thanks for the compliment and the tip on posting pics. The Shedu head from Raging Heroes was a little smaller than I hoped it would be and the back of the head was just a round ball. My wife actually helped me with his green stuff flame twist hair cut. I also tried to have some fun with his base and I made a melted snow effect around each of his feet to represent his burning body. I used a glue that dries clear and shiny, but the effect wasn't perfect. Should have just shelled out the extra cash for water effects. It's not like I hadnt already invested a few bucks into the army...
