I like his axe a lot, good looking figure. Perhaps a rune of hashut/small pattern on his back if you’re up to it, it would break up the red a bit. Well done

Nice job man! Everything about it I like, except the handle of the axe. Needs some texture on if it’s brown. Black might have worked better. But overall, very nice!

I love his positioning, his added height from the rock, the pointing finger, the cracked lava-float look of the axehead, the colours which work brilliantly together, the seamlessness of the whole model (particularly impressed with the join of the horns and his mask), love the skull at the foot of the axe. As for the cape, I think breaking up the red isn’t the answer, so much as having something attached to the bottom of it or having small tears in the bottom. Another possibilty is a little ash covering the bottom rim. Also, I think black for the axeshaft might darken the model too much and texture is unnecessary. Also, don’t make it metal as it would unbalance the whole palette you’ve used.

Actually, what’s really funny is that I had planned on cutting the bottom of the cloak up and making it look torn and battle ragged.
I just forgot.

But I am probably going to dry brush is with a little gray for ash to break up the red.
