Well done. You must be very proud. It is also good to see that your store is still open. Job well done.

Tarrakk Blackhand:

Well, that’s because I took a job painting houses. The recession has been a pain though.

Actually, the clothing store beside me went out of business, so I’m proud to have survived.

I might also add in some RC cars in the near future too, and hopefully it will increase sales!

vulcanologist:

Congratulations! Glad you’re still in business and still following your dream! Rc cars could be a very good idea. There’s 3 or 4 shops in my home town that specialise in rc kits and they all seem very popular.

Zanko:

Congrats dude and I wish you the best for the future! :hat off

Have you noticed any change in the types of products getting bought from you, e.g. less GW, etc?

Actually, I just finished printing my ZZ Report yesterday which covered DEC 31 2010 - November 17 2011 and I found out something interesting.

When I printed the previous year, my model train department made up for 31% of all store sales, Games made 15%, model cars made 12% and Supplies such as paint and glue, made up 10%. All other items were 4% and below.

This time, Games made up 31%, Trains were 13%, Supplies were 9% and everything else was 7% and below.

It's interesting that the trains fell so drastically and games took over.

Tarrakk Blackhand:

Now I bounced up to 12, 000+!

Added a “Shipping” section to the “Shopping Help” page. Please let me know if this looks ok, or reads right. http://www.monster-hobbies.com/shoppinghelp.htm

Kera foehunter:

Tarrakk Blackhand:

Thanx Bassman.  It seems to me that as soon as I get my web site to where I think it’s perfect, I then have to rebuild it to look better.
