[Archive] Necromunda Gangs

Hammerhand:

I’m sure lots of people must have these!

Here’s my Goliaths

wallacer:

They look nice.

I’ve always wanted to play Necromunda, but the opportunity never arose.

Willmark:

Hammerhand. You sir have a VERY “clean” style of painting. Hats off :hat off

Pyro Stick:

I am not a fan of necromunda at all and i doubt i ever will be but your guys have a nice paint job.

Hammerhand:

Thanks guys! This photo was actually used in my NECRO-NEWS gazzette that I used to produce for the group. Note the backdrop from the ‘Imperial City’ Box lid!

AGPO:

Yeah, I noticed and thought it was cleverly used. Wish I could afford some GW scenery so I could do the same for mine. ATM i cover my keyboard on my laptop with a gaming mat and put a suitably stormy picture on as my screensaver

grom:

I have van saar gang, I started converting them, but they are still not painted

Benjiman:

Alas, my Cawdor gang, still lies naked and unpainted after stripping for the third time, really need to start getting back into playing again Hammerhand, that is a certainty.

AGPO:

Alas no-one I know plays anymore…

Xander:

Wow, amazing!

Man, I love Necromunda. It’s my favourite GW gaming system.

I have a bunch of gangs I bought for cheap when GW stopped stocking them way back when.

clam:

They are awesome Hammerhand. Never played Necromunda myself, but I have use some of these great models in an IG army a few years back! Very nice :hat

Skaven Lord Vinshqueek:

Wow, that’s one very nicely done paintjob, Hammerhand…

… Just out of curiosity, where can we read that Necro-News Gazette?

Greetz

It was all on paper, we all lived close together and met up often so It didn't need to be on the net, sorry!

grom:

gIL^:

AGPO:

You can download the official living rule book from the specialist games website.

Ghrask Dragh:

I think Necromunda is the only game I never picked up, probably because it’s 40k. Always liked the miniatures though, your Goliaths look great HH :cheers maybe I should get some to paint up as a little project. Redemptionists ftw!

Wasn’t Kal Jericho set in the underhives?

Yep, you could at one point buy a special edition kal jericho bounty hunter for necromunda.

It's the campaign system that makes Necromunda great. You only have a few guys so it's easy to get a fully painted gang. I rekindled my necro-love affair when they released the plastic 40k cities of death terrain, as it's just perfect for necromunda. You can really get involved with your gang, with their injuries and that. I used to put a section into the necro-news that had fighter/duffer of the week and messiest kill. People were more bothered about getting (or avoiding) those accolades than they were winning the campaign!

The best duffer of the week had to be my brother in law's Cawdor Heavy, who failed the ammo roll with his first shot on his heavy bolter , which exploded taking him man down. He eventually got up, whipped out his shotgun, which also failed it's ammoroll, exploded and took him out of action!! To add insult to injury, none of his hits wounded their target! It was hilarious! (I suppose you had to be there).

Hammerhand:

Glad you all like the goliaths!

Here is my Cawdor gang leader conversion (just gave him a power fist, although these are quite tough to get in the game, I think it looks awesome!, can ‘count as’ a hand weapon for now!)

Embarrasingly, he is the only one of the gang that is painted. In a fit of nostalgia, I aquired nearly the entire necromunda range off ebay, with every intention of painting it all.

Too many projects, only 1 me. :sick
