I’ll just stick to buying my second hand armies. I’m still a metal fanatic and rarely find myself getting the plastics. My only finecast is the Krell undead character because I thought it was really cool. Paid full GW price though $33 for the preorder of it. I do agree that it is a good way to get it cheaper straight from GW.

GW lost me as a customer a long time ago.
I realized I have more then enough already to paint. When my daughter gets I to this I have enough for her to paint a 3,000 point high elf army easily.
GW with their rediculous pricing means all I need from them is rules rather then chasing their latest and greatest.

Till they all dry 6 weeks after being opened.JEEPERS!!!! I just saw the price for the ultimate paint set... NZ$ 860!!!!! 144paints. That's really taking the p!ss. Glad I buy Vallejo paints nowadays. Not sure how NZ$ differs from US$, but the paint set is actually a pretty good deal. It retails for $450.00 us, but there are a couple of online retailers selling it for $329.99. When you do the math it comes out to getting over 50 paint pots for free. Pretty good deal in my opinion, even if you don't ever plan on using "every" paint colour. Plus the box it comes in is the best paint storage system I've ever had.
