I really like the terminators with the cloaks and shields, very cool and unique take on terminators! Glad to see each new army having a different look so to speak, after all just cause they’re marines doesn’t mean they should all look the same.
First thoughts are that I really like that terminator set, especially considering the number of bits. That said bare headed marines, let alone terminators always bug me, so I may reserve those bits for librarians who have other forms of protection and communication. The bikes look pretty awesome although possibly a bit busy, but they too should be a treasure trove of bits. The flyer is terrific but I definitely prefer it without the shrine (those candles are ridiculous) and I think the new speeder is poorly executed. I would swap positions of the gunner and the guy at the back. Asmodai is okay but pretty undynamic and I really prefer the old model. Probably just nostalgia on my part.
The one model I really can’t stand though is Belail. Seriously, the old monopose marines from second edition had a better pose than this guy. He’s standing to attention with his arms thrown up in the air, so I can only assume he’s either surrendering or part of a Mexican wave. Awful model.
