Admiral:
Zealot Miniatures has released some new dungeon clutter resin kits, the three below of which are sculpted by me:
Unusual Goblins
Impaling based on this ancient Assyrian relief.
Ancient Idols
Including primeval idol based on Venus of Willendorf and stele based on the Law Code of Hammurabi one.
Wizard’s Study
Including cat and globe. Land masses are thin and easy to scrape away.
More of the same may follow should these kits prove popular.
Bloodbeard:
Lovely! Really hope they sell well Admiral!
Very good descriptions written by Zealot.
Jackswift:
Awesome! :hat off I plan to pick up at least a couple of these, so look for them on future bases.
Fuggit Khan:
Congratulations Admiral!
We all need more clutter :cheers
Admiral:
Thank you kindly all! More to clutter! :cheers
Dungeon Oddities - Dungeon Clutter £3.99 at release.
You can find some odd things in a long-forgotten dungeon! This set expands the range of trinkets and dungeon clutter, bringing more life to your underground stone lair.
Bloodbeard:
Congratulations on having even more stuff ‘published’ Admiral.
Fuggit Khan:
I love the ancient Tropaeum Bowerbanki nautilus! What made you think of sculpting such a cool little prehistoric creature?
Admiral:
Thank you kindly, both of you! I’m simply mad in dinosaurs and everything related to them since a very early age, so an ammonite was a must-have. A fantasy world should be rich and include all the good stuff, including ancient things and creatures. After all, better include some animals in the dungeon clutter that could double up as live ones (swimming backwards in water or even air/magical streams depending on level of wackiness), stuffed ones and ones about to be made into food.
The food element was what made me think of it in the first place, though I prefer to think of it as alive. If I was to make pots and baskets and produce sacks filled with food, then there should be chunks of meat and animals ready for the chopping block (the cat is obviously not intended in this way at all, but is there instead because I love cats and they’re traditionally associated with dire omens and witches, so is dungeon material).
I’d like to make a trilobite and a horseshoe crab down the road, and my brother and I have agreed that I shall attempt to sculpt a decidedly much more lively ammonite, tentacles outstretched, as an animal companion for a planned Elf greatsword hero down the road. Some other distant Elf character might get a baby ankylosaurus as a sidekick. There might even be some small prehistoric fauna found in some distant evil dwarf kit as well.
Carcearion:
I keep forgetting about the Zealot Miniatures goodies you did! I’m a huge fan of the Wizards study and I love your new set! Particularly the portal. I’ll have to pick them up sometime soon.
Admiral:
Thanks, Carcearion! Zealot Miniatures released the last of my dungeon clutter sculpts which they picked out, in conjunction with their massive Twisting Catacombs kickstarter
: That whole release wave is a treasure trove of dungeon details! Check out their Dungeon and Minotaur stuff.
