yeah, a little too flamethrower-esque, and I'm a little worried about the various demon heads on the guns,so prominent that they look fragile..
also, seems like the "volumes" of the bodies are done with 3D sculpted masters (the grey parts), or is it "just" a grey sculpting material?
Who sculpted them has some numbers with putty, the faces are awesome. But the more I look at them the more I feel like they are missing “something”. I don’t particularly dig the wooden shields and those hand weapons look… weird. I agree with the others in saying that those guns are too sci-fi for a fantasy setting, although I admit that my nerd senses are tingling with pleasure at the idea of a shotgun toting CD.
the problem with those guns is they are plasma rifles used as the base, with putty work. While it is well done putty work they are plasma rifles one of the most sci fi guns in in the 40k range outside of melta rifles. I give the models a A++ the guns a C for conversion but a solid F for being a fantasy correct product.

Isnt that illegal? Physically using someone elses item to actually sculpt your own, then selling it? If they started from scratch, it would be different.

BLOOD AXE
I have no idea how that works, I just know from when I played 40k that those are plasma rifles.

Those look like GW plasma guns to me. It looks like they were used as the base to sculpt the gun. That’s why they look like shot guns. Greenstuff was used to cover the vents & certain parts.
they’ve just posted a pic of the “green” used as base-volumes in their Pyrobaras unit:[attachment=4074]
and this post:
"So, you may be interested in what is going on at the backstage, how our miniatures are made, are you? The models are entirely designed and made by us, we don’t rely on third party works. We make specific parts and then duplicates them so they can be a base fo sculpting details (this facilitates our work if we’re intent on executing similar parts differing only in decorations). Our weapons don’t have anything in common with popular wargaming systems, unless you want to use them in such a way. For example, our inspiration while designing weapons for Sons of Adramelech were shotguns, but to a small extent. We assumed these should in general look like early industrial arms to fit to such line of models. The same is with legs - and no, because some were asking, we don’t use 3d design, just classic sculpting techniques."
I sent an email asking for these models and they confirmed me there will be weapon options for the tartaruk sparabaras. Thats great news if they decide to make halberds for the models.
i seem to be in the minority but i think these models are very cool minus the weird hand weapons im even cool with the pump action flame thrower blunderbuss’s now how about a lady chaos dwarf lord :cheers
Anybody got any info on these guys? The link to their facebook doesnt seem to work and they said they would be selling the minis on sept… But nothing yet on ebay!
