I got mine today , and my daemonsmith has an other arm instead of the one handling a clock , he has one like the limited daemonsmith of games day . (showing a direction ) .

Am I the only one ?

Pyro Stick:

I just got mine as well. They came in a blister like the Finecast models do so thats pretty cool. Unfortunately some of the bits were snapped (which is annoying cause i was taking a video) so im going to email forgeworld about it. Apart from that the detail is amazing, much higher than on the hellsmith. These guys literally have nostrils, individual teeth and everything else. They are definitely going to be centerpiece models for every army.

@Parish: I dont know where you are getting a clock from but the guy thats holding the pipe comes with an alternate arm like the hellsmiths pointing arm as well as the arm holding the pipe.

You should have gotten the arm with the pipe. Its on the sprue with the backpack thing, the (stone?) head and the pointing arm.

Ill take some pictures later for the wiki and to show other people the contents.

edit: These files are definately way too big. Im editing them down from 12 to 2 on photoshop so that they are around 150kb instead of 2-4mb lol. I can still link to the photobucket album for high quality versions.

The 8th ED Lammasu as well... I was too excited with my WF models to take proper pictures before assembling them :p Although my Drazhoath & Cindrebreath is still in all its original parts, I just haven't been home enough lately to take proper pictures.

The detail on them is indeed impressive. Trying to get them to line up within my unit of Infernal Guard isn’t the easiest task though. I’ve got two of them to fit into the unit, the the guy with the backpack I can’t make fit at all. Good job he is likely to accompany the warmachines anyway :slight_smile:

haha thats probably an impossible task unless you build your whole unit of IG around them. Ill probably try and stick the Infernal Castellan in my IG unit but thats it.

Ive started painting mine and i can tell you they are really fun to paint. Painting the daemonsmith reminds me of painting old edition models like the sorcerer on lamassu and the mm90 mage with its huge shoulder pads and lightning bolts. The other two have a lot more finer details and my brush is literally too big to pick them all out. I'm going to have to rely a lot on washes to get them to appear.

I struggle to get the IG themselves to fit now these awesome minis come along to make matters worse!
