Kera foehunter:
that is cool wallacer !! i’m not into dragons , but it is one of the better ones out there
wallacer:
Yes, I rather like it. I won’t be shelling out 100 quid for it though (rather spend that money on Rats and Space Hulk).
Pyro Stick:
Definately shaping up to be one of the better dragons out there. But i think the price is a bit much so i wont be getting it. I have no use for it anyway and im sure it would take me months, if not years, to paint.
clam:
That’s one impressive looking dragon. Don’t really see it used in WFB - it’s way to big - but hat off to Andy Foster for a awesome job anyway - and I’ll have to control myself not spending a £100 on this one :~ - should save it for the re-release of the Netherlord MK I
- if that’s ever going to happend
Loki:
That is one great dragon the pose is great unlike the GW one but a bit over priced i think
snowblizz:
I might just have to buy myself that one. I already have the Mk1 Netherlord…
I’m sorta tempted by that Ultraforge dragon. I’d like to see the final products before I decide.
It looks expensive on the surface but counting the stuff I’d buy anyway…
Besides, I usually look at it like money I won’t spend on booze, student that I am. At least the dragon will stick around after the next morning…:~
Admittedly the low value of the pound definitely helps push my interest. I already upgraded my promise to myself of a Warhound when I get my doctorate to a Reaver. When a Chaos version comes.
Taedae:
this is one awesome model. how many pieces does it come in? 4?
i am putting that on my wish list.
clam:
Don’t think that’s known by now - as casting hasn’t begun yet - but I would say 10+
I think this picture could give us an idea - how it going to be casted:
wallacer:
I already have the Mk1 Netherlord... :PYou lucky sod.

GRNDL:
Its an awesome model, I must admit, but I got a bit of sticker shock on it. I’m not saying it isn’t worth the 100+ UK pounds, it certainly is, but I can’t see myself sinking that much on a dragon.
That being said I am easily influenced and routinely make poor decisions, so will probably buy one.
PS: Last line courtesy of Penny Arcade.
Kera foehunter:
you can buy 2 of them grndl and you can give me one!!
snowblizz:
Dude! Definitely no luck involved. I'd been drooling over it for years, and then saw the notice that the mould was wearing out. So I got hold of a friend with Paypal and told him I needed get it ASAP. Best £50 I've spent so far. Counting the £/envy ratio anyway... :PI already have the Mk1 Netherlord... :PYou lucky sod.

It is about the same as two boxes of Goldswords... or what some pay for a few CDs... Heck that traveller's insurance I had to take for my imminent visit to the U.S. is the same. I don't smoke, I'm not much of a boozer, I don't play WoW and I'm really really frugal. And I don't own a car (with insurance and especially the petrol prices in Euorpe I saw a pretty penny compared to many of my friends. The only occasional splurge is a miniature here and there...
I bet our ladies (and I use that term loosely :hat off) spent more on shoes last month than my hobby costs in a year...
GRNDL:
@Kera
I said I make poor decisions, not downright silly ones.
Zanko:
Great “mini”!
… but I have my doubts if this one is worth more than 100 Pounds?!
IMO the Ultraforge Dragon is at least as cool as the Heresy Dragon!
But this dragon is cheaper!
:hashut
BlackRose15:
Really with allowance and abnormally the petrol prices?

Remember this??
Andy Foster has been working one it for nearly 2 years - but it seems the project is coming to an end
Just announced that the dragon will go for ‘first proofing’ casting next week. So the commercial one cant be that far away
It’s the most impressive piece I’ve ever seen - but have no ambition of buying one - as I simple cant ever painted it as it deserves to be painted.
And price? Well the £100 offer is comming to an end - and I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends at even £125-150.

i do like it but £100+ out of my range, and I don’t play the lottery
Baggronor:
It is freaking cool, been following this for a while. I just don’t have the space for such a beast, but its one hell of a dragon.
zobo1942:
As a comparison, the forgeworld warhammer dragon is £140…
