I still think the dwarfs would be great CD with minor conversions. Perhaps even without.

The biggest trolls could probably work well as siege giants. Sure, they seem to lack details, but not everything need a clutter of details and one can easily add chains, runes or whatever if one finds it necessary.
My brother and I have started to think more and more of rebasing out Lotr collection squares so they get to see use in 9th Age/Warhammer tournaments… The Perry sculpts are brilliant, and many of the new Hobbit miniatures look good, too.

Never thought of LoTR stuff as something I liked or would buy. I do like the look of this range but they still are not for me.
