For a long time I’ve wanted to build myself a second army, a Chaos Dwarfs army. Over the last days I’ve started this. I however have a few questions.
1. What to get for a proper 2500 points army?
I already have - Hero on Llmassu - Hero on Bull
I am currently buying the following units. - A unit of Chaos Dwarf Warriors (axes-Tallhats) of 20 men - A unit of Stormcallers (Blunderbusses-Tallhats) of 19 - A crew for a Death Shrieker I’ve made myself. - A unit of six Bull Centaurs, converted from the Gaspez Art models - A Magma cannon - General and Sorcerrer
2. Then I want to include one or two units of Bull centaurs (2x5) as I love them but I don’t know how to get hold of them for a reasonable price (anybody got a tip?)
3. Is this enough to form a proper army?
4. And what would or should I buy to complete it?
5. Then I am curious what a bazooka team does as I quite like 'em.
6. Which rules to use for building an army? (I’ve downloaded Thommmy_H’s)
That’s probably a decent start - by Chaos Warriors, I’m assuming you mean Chaos Dwarf Warriors.
2) eBay. Gaspez Arts also do a couple of fantasy football ones in their Chaos Dwarf range which are easy to convert and look good. Twenty Bull Centaurs will always be expensive though, I’m afraid. Maybe just start with five or so?
3) Not sure you’ll be able to fit the two lords on monsters in at this stage, but otherwise yeah.
4) More Hobgoblins maybe? Whatever you want. Most modern Chaos Dwarf armies consist of big blocks of Infernal Guard backed up by a few war machines and a K’daai Destroyer.
5) In my book it’s a Mortal Engine. I think the Indy GT book might have rules for it too, but mostly it’s just an OOP model that does nothing.
6) The Legion of Azgorh list in Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos is the accepted standard. Even if you want to use my book, I’d make sure your army is compatible with that if you want to play against strangers.
Axes or blunderbusses are pretty much all they’ve ever come with and all they’re ever likely to. Warhammer Forge does them with Fireglaives, but since they don’t make any blunderbusses (yet), you might be best just thinking of them as a blunderbuss variant. So don’t worry about it.

I don't like Forge's Chaos Dwarfs (but I do like their machines) and instead will go for Zonk's and whatever I can get from Ebay.
I’ve seen people on here saying that the missile weapons are too pricey, over and above the overpricedness of IG in general. You can’t go too wrong with plain infantry, and you have to have some anyway.
