I asked the store manager about Games Day this year and his response was.
�?oI have not been told there isn�?Tt going to be a games day but I also have not been told there is going to be one. I have been told that if anyone specifically asks about Games Day to tell them about the Warhammer 40,000 open day on Sunday where you will be able to meet a the studio staff in a similar format to a Games Day and it�?Ts only £8. The Armies On Parade will be going ahead in every store in September but I have not been told anything about an event for the store winners.�?�
It sounds to me like they�?Tre dropping Games Day and are bringing everything in house to Warhammer World instead.
Anyone else have anything?

I went to the 40K open day yesterday and it was one of the best GW events I’ve ever been to (which is quite a few, LOL).
The only downside - and at the end of the day it is the FORTY K OPEN DAY - was that Forgeworld didn’t have any Warhammer Forge for sale on the day… and they’d sold out of the Cerastus Knight Castigator in the first 10 minutes

There were the normal items in the Games Workshop store within Warhammer world but you know if you’ve been that there’s not much Warhammer Forge in there. Also the usual “order FW by 1pm and we’ll deliver it at 3pm” wasn’t in play because it was a Sunday and the warehouses were shut.
I’m not complaining, it was a great day - but not a lot in it for my Dawi Zharr.
The Warhammer Fest thing passed me by. They were only displaying information about it on the big screen that there are some photographs on the internet of.
