Hazkar:

thats…interesting

it would work in a slaanesh army imo,but not in a cd one

pretty freaky and insane mini

vulcanologist:

Well sculpted mini and probably has a place in some fluff(skaven maybe ie James Herbert) but definately not chaos dwarf!

Pyro Stick:

The more i look at that the sicker it becomes lol. NSFW indeed. Dont think it has any place in a chaos dwarf army, only in a slannesh army thats extremely nsfw themed.

Patrikson:

I remember seeing this the other day on 4chan’s /tg/, i was quite disgusted with it and so were a lot of people on the thread. D:

Thommy H:

By and large the majority of CDO members seem to have no problem with Chaos Dwarfs enslaving Daemons for all manner of things, including powering war machines. So why the heck couldn't an insane Chaos Dwarf Forge Master enslave a greater Daemon of Slaanesh and corrupt her to churning out an off shoot of Chaos Dwarfs??
Because one is cartoonishly villainous and therefore, while not something you should symapathise with, probably falls within the bounds of what is appropriate for a game of toy soldiers. The other is just creepy and kind of psychotic.

By way of allegory: it was fine for Mumm-Ra try and exterminate those little robot teddy bear things in the ThunderCats, but if he'd raped Chetara, that probably would have been a step too far.

Like all right thinking people, I find slavery in all its forms utterly reprehensible, but I can accept it as villainous behaviour in characters, groups or races that are supposed to be evil. But the concept of sexual reproduction and (by implication) women being replaced by some kind of hideous tentacled slave monster as a way of making something appear more creepy or, worse, 'cool' makes me deeply uncomfortable. It's not a story element I think has a place in anything but the most nightmarish settings. So, as I say, not in my fluff, thanks all the same.

The_Bear_in_the_Hat:

There’s plenty of suggestions within the Dark Elf book that Morathi and Malekith are incestuous, so there is scope within Warhammer for freaky sexual stuff (as with all the Slaanesh orgies and pleasure slaves in the old Chaos book fluff). That model is probably too graphic, but there doesn’t seem to be any reason why suggesting alternative reproduction should be problematic; so long as the details are kept sparce.

Thommy H:

Incest is not on the same level as replacing women with giant tentacle monsters covered in boobs. Sorry: it’s just icky.

cornixt:

Would it be better without the boobs? Then it would just be an ordinary daemon that replaces females in an insectoid way. The nice thing about pushing things to extremes is that it challenges your perceptions on ordinary things in a very different way.

If it makes 4chan disgusted then it must be bad, considering the awful stuff they have on there. I find this to be a whole magnitude nicer than their “fun” pictures.

Honestly I don't think there's one thing, but the sheer number of stuff on it.
The phallic head which transforms into a female body-something. Have anyone checked the pictures from the back? Graphic...

I think the main thing is the accompanying female models and what frankly seems to be a question of systematic degradation. With the sexually explicit content going on there. The penis-like tentacles and I'm not sure I want to know what is going on with the female with something attached to the breasts.

cornixt
+1 to that, anything makes 4chan go "eww what?" has to be disturbed.

For some its a life choice! ;p

To be fair i've seen far weirder things, granted this has to rank as the weirdest miniature i've seen to date.

Baggronor:

Its the collapsed pregnant woman with the poised knob-tentacle behind her that is a bit much really. Its basically a rape-demon, which is pretty distasteful. There’s something puerile about it too, almost like they’ve gone ‘Look how sick we are!’ just to impress.

Pretty sure someone else said "gross". It's really not my cup-of-tea. I see enough of ...... in that oh so intrusive reality I work in.

Precisely. I would put it on about the same conceptual level as graphic and gynophobic lyrics in many hip-hop songs - it's not offensive, so much as it is kind of childish. "I like boobs and women are bitches lol" is the kind of sentiment these things express to me. There are more worthwhile things we could be doing with our toy soldiers and our stories about them.

But really, it does just come down to it being an icky model and idea. I don't like it, and that's about it really.

Zuh-Khinie:

I don’t like it either, but as older and wiser men than me have stated for millenia:

"De coloribus et gustibus nunquam disputandum"

And that says it all really…

Ishkur Cinderhat:

Well, it’s an interesting concept and a very pretty sculpt, technically. I like the pose of the arms and the level of detail. As I generally don’t have any problems with sexual themes in art I’m also not that much offended by the miniature.

I still never thought I’d see a 3D rendition of a tentacle porn in a miniature… would it be safe to assume that most of the limited 100 pieces eventually went to Japan? gg

I think that's a forgone conclusion. :p
