Found these is a second hand bookstore this morning. Had to pick them up, given the photos of chaos dwarf models. Also, the illustrations are awesome.

BABIS:

Grimstonefire:
Is that the 3rd ed rulebook in the middle?
I’ve got the other two, shows how ancient I am, lol.

The 3rd and 4th edition books both have the same image on the cover.
zobo1942:
Not bad for $5CAN each. I am enjoying reading them - they seem so much more focused on fun than the more modern stuff.
Willmark:
4th edition is old school? Pfffffftt.
zobo1942:
It is from prior to me discovering GW
Willmark:

It was a memorable experience - then, I stumbled upon a store which sold all kinds of GW stuff, instead of TSR/D&D stuff. I’ve enjoyed it since - I think that was in 1990 or so. That was the year I bought my first (and only, strangely) space marines plastic box, the ‘Adeptus Titanicus’ boxed set, some genestealers… Good times.
zobo1942:
Found a copy of US WD 247, still sealed in the bag. It came with a copy of ‘ravening hordes’, untouched and in perfect condition - it still smells like ink.
cornixt:
I once found a 3rd ed armies book. Only found out later than about 60 pages were missing from the middle!
zobo1942:
Ouch - that stinks!
