Enjoysrandom:
Good lot of matts, they look really effective with some terrain on them.
tjub:
All of them looks good, though the first is the best IMO. Never played on a mat like that. Guess Im/was too old school. Should I ever get into 28mm battles again Id look it up for sure!
Ghrask Dragh:
Wow, great selections there, I’ve not played on a mat yet but they seem like a great idea and I think I’ll be getting a few for future games. If anyone has anymore post them here!
Admiral:
Tournament organizers in Sweden have started using mats, including lava mats for Dark Lands terrain. An actually textured and masterclass painted tabletop surface would look even better, but on the other hand the smoothness of the mats is good for gaming. These kinds of mats look great and have improved the experience of playing Warhammer.
Firehammer:
Having quite a collection of mats, I would now only buy them in mousepad material: They don’t crumble, they don’t bend, they don’t shine or move. They are heavy and cost more but I still recommend them for durability.
Frontline Gaming currently doesn’t sell to Europe, they plan to get the European warehouse running again end of November.
I will then go for a mat that might also be interesting for you folks here: Eldar/Elven ruins. It ain’t home, but you don’t want to have battles at home

Good advice on material. Will keep that in mind.
Death to the knife-ears. :cheers

Yes good shout for the material, good to hear from someone whos had a few knows about it. What would be described as on awebsite? Is it that neoprene backing I can see there?
That’s an incredible mat btw, the grass detail is fantastic!
gsteelwraith:
A couple Kickstarters I backed had some nice 3’x3’ mats made of mousepad material, and one of them was for use as post-apocalytic wasteland type game, which is perfect for the Chaos Dwarves’ homelands. They look nice and are the perfect size for the skirmish games I like to play.

Man I need to make more money…

Wow, this is cool. Goes to show the rapid advances of technology. A few years ago you could do this but the quality? The se look really good.
