so i would like some help painting my brand new forge world bought chaos dwarf army! spent big bucks on it, and want to make sure i get it right. i went to the GW web site and i really like the painting guide they have. is it worth it to buy the painting guide book? or should i be able to find everything i need on the internet? i like how they show what to use as a base, what wash, what 2-3 layers and then finally what to use to dry brush. i wish they had whole guide like that to paint the whole army, so i know what to buy and how to paint them.
so, any advice? and saying priming them black and drybrushing them silver is not a lot of help . . .

You can look through here for insperation http://massivevoodoo.blogspot.de/2009/10/tutorial-overview.html
I think you can find a lot of help at coolminiornot as well.
You can also look on Youtube for Guides, it really helps to see the brush in motion. some of my favorite channels are “awesomepaintjob” and “buypainted”.
That’s just what comes in mind first.

It’s a good idea to paint a test mini first, and that way you can see how it looks. Make sure to keep a painting “recipe book”, so you can replicate the same formula.
You can post a photo of your test piece on these forums, and get some very useful feedback.
