The most recent GT I saw allowed them. But it’s easy enough to check. Either log onto the Games Workshop website and look for the GT info, or check with the person(s) in charge and ask them directly.
It’s never a good idea to get 3rd party info to tell a friend, at that point, it’s so far removed, it’s just rumor.

There are no common rules. Check with the rules for the individual GT.

The Cdn ones did. And still do. The official GW Canada line is if it has a GW list legal for the current edition, then it can be played at the GT.

i saw pictures in the white dwarf of german gt two or three years ago and there was a cd army
i dont know sure what list they used,but i think the cd list,cause there was an earthshaker included

The RTTs and indy events around me allow them. I even convinced a GW store to be cool with them with some friendly discussion.
Worst case scenari0: use Dwarf rules and have them look like CD when not allowed… or base them as WoC and use those rules. It’s a run around, but it works as a fix until they (hopefully) redo CD
