I’ve just finished with my 12 Warriors from BFSP and was going to move on to the Good Dwarf Miners which are going to be converted into a Heavy Weapon Warrior Team.
It’s saying that the CD Heavy Weapon Team can have a Great Axe, but I’m wondering if they can also have a shield as it says that they can “replace their shield if they are going to take up the Blunderbuss”, but doesn’t really say if they have to drop the shield for the Great Axe. (At least I’m reading it that they can have both the Great Axe and Shield)
My understanding was always that they can take the GW, but they must keep the shield.
They cannot have BB and shield, which is a real shame.
Some people I know just have a regiment base (20mm X 80mm) with shields piled on to show them. They put it behind the regiment. Thats for Dwarfs, but of course CD warriors without BB are always armed with shields, so unless it really messes up your conversion they should really be modelled on.
Or you can use house rules and take off 1pt/ model (what I do)!
