Zanko:
I know it! I built some (much smaller) terrain for the Artisan Contest and for the last "Word of Hashut" so I know how long it will last to finish a terrain piece - cause building a terrain piece is a "never ending story" imo!Now I'm eager to see your work finished!Finished? Hashut’s Blessing:
One thought is to not glue down anything that can simply be placed on. After all, you don’t want this table to get too heavy for you
Thanks for xtra pictures (especially the tar pit) and I’m very eager to see the next batch soon!
Time of Madness:
Looking great guys! You should be able to accomplish a fair amount over the long weekend

Xander:
The 3rd Batch of images is online (check the first post), featuring the use of textured house paint instead of flocking the board with sand.
Thoughts?

Love the tar pit! Whoever gets this table is going to have to pray they get first pick to set up. This table is shaping up to be carnage city

Love the tar pit! Whoever gets this table is going to have to pray they get first pick to set up. This table is shaping up to be carnage cityThe Chaos Dwarf army will always be starting (deployed) down the pit, as they are busy playing slave-masters while their united enemy (players are allowed to bring their own units to battle) creep in from above.

Great work so far! Why do not add some tunnels? I mean from the sides, like the cut of the table intercepted some tunnels. You will not have to shape them with an exit to the centre of the board, but just a middle section. It would be cool to see some strange machinery inside and slaves working hard
P.S. you can even add a fighting inside the tunnels, like the slaves are rebelling against their masters nad Chaos Dwarfs try to keep the situation under control.
Xander:
As the game begins, all the slaves will still be bound and controlled by Chaos Dwarfs, though the attackers will try to liberate them.
furrie:
Looking good. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

looking great so far!!!
AGPO:
Awesome! I’d love to have a read of the scenario you guys have written for this board. Also, where are you getting all the Chaos Dwarf models for this? I assume you’re going to want a fair few to showcase?
Xander:
I am waiting on the scenario until the new edition of Warhammer.
The Chaos Dwarfs models will be the army that Vexxus and I have been building.
zobo1942:
Any more progress on the table? I think it will look fabulous, and am looking foreward to seeing it! Also, thanks for posting the work-in-progress photos. It really shows how much work it takes to create something like this!
Xander:
I have started on some of the slaves that will adorn the cliffs. I am also gathering some of my Unpainted Chaos Dwarfs and prepping them for an undercoat of primer.
I updated the CDO twitter with a pic.
Xander:
Small update. I am mustering all the troops! steph and I spent the last two days flocking and magnetizing a bunch of dawi zharr!
That means tomorrow I get to prime over 100 troops!
Joshmohr:
Fantastic table! Cant wait to see it finished!

Non-GW models at a GW event? Is that wise?
