Has anyone checked out the Reaper ‘Bones’ line of miniatures?
http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Bones
There isn’t much in the way of selection but the prices are CRAZY cheap.
I’ve been toying with the idea of picking a few up, just to check them out, but I thought Id see if anyone else had any experience with them.
Thoughts?

I am big fan of Reaper products. The best figure on the market
It great to see that they have made more affordable prices
but i love the fact that they still have metal figures
Metal figure rules:hat off

Yeah, I’ve seen these and I’m going to keep an eye on the range and see if they release something I actually want. I’ve heard good things about the material, surprisingly.

I like a lot of Reaper’s miniatures as well.
I’m thinking about picking up the werewolf, the ghost and the cave troll.
Those gnolls are pretty awesome, too -and sculpted by Tre Manor! Isn’t he the owner of ‘Red Box Games’? Might be worth the $2. 49 to check out!
Shakhorth:
Looks nice, gonna check this out!
zobo1942:
Well, there goes this week’s allowance (Yes, I’m 40 and still get an allowance)! The werewolf, the cave troll, the ghost and a gnoll.
Total order? $14.66, including shipping.
(By the way, shipping appears to be free in north america with orders of $25 or more.)

This is awesome I hope they expand on this as these minis are amazingly well priced, Though i won’t buy anything i don’t need.

I have that Dwarf in metal. 1.99$ for that is a pretty cool deal. Mine cost like 5-6$ at least. Not a bad base for a CD either. Though requires conversion then. A bit large to fit on 20mm bases though.

Well, I got my Reaper ‘Bones’ miniatures yesterday. Kudos for the postal system for getting them to me, even though I mistyped my shipping address. Also, a great experience with buying from Reaper - email updates for ‘packaged’ and ‘shipped’ filled me on the progress of my order, which was nice.
Here’s what the four of them look like, compared with a CD Sorcerer:

One interesting thing: the plastic is flexible. I can bend the gnoll’s mace back, and it will just move back into place when I let it go. I’m sure that if I bent it back hard, it would crease and not swing back, but they seem pretty durable.
It’s hard to see any of the detail, but it looks pretty good. I wish I had a metal sample of compare them too, but I don’t. Maybe I’ll even work up the courage to pull out a paint brushes and see what happens! You are supposed to be able to paint these unprimed, which is interesting.
The only thing I could gripe about is the lack of a ‘slottabase’… but that’s not really a huge deal. I may go pick up a few large washers to mount them on with the addition of some wood filler putty will give them a bit more heft.
Overall, I’ve got to say that I’m quite impressed. I’d really like to see some ‘Setting’ packs - doors, tombstones, etc… for prices like this. Also, a wider selection would be fabulous.
I’m planning on using the Werewolf and the Ghost for ‘Strange Aeons’ and - although they are a bit big (when compared to 25mm miniatures) - I think they will work out just fine.
You know - 'cause monsters are big and scary!

Can you tell me how tall the troll is? I’ve been thinking about ordering a couple of units worth, if they are tall enough.
