I’ve had a quick browse of the forums and have found very little mention of this, the only post in the modelling section has replies of ‘do what you like, bases don’t matter’ which is not very helpful.
Has anyone rebased their Forgeworld range Chaos Dwarfs to be on round and oval bases? If so, what sizes did you use?
How do the Infernal Guard look on 25’s? Or have you moved up a size?
Has anyone tried the Centaurs on the 75x46 ovals are the 90x52mm ovals the way to go?
Do the Warmachines fit on the 105x70 Ovals? Same applies to the Iron Deamon.
I don’t think anyone has done this yet. “It doesn’t matter” really is the correct answer, but Bull Centaurs ought to fit on the 75 x 46mm ovals since that’s the same size as their rectangular bases. I don’t see any reason that Infernal Guard wouldn’t fit on 25mm bases either since they’re designed to fit on 20mm squares. War machines you’ll probably have to measure. Have you considered cutting some templates of the correct sizes out of paper or something and seeing if they fit?
I know you have a lot on your plate, but I will just use this moment to thank you for all your great content on the baddice podcast. I always listen to you guys while painting, and I think I have listened to all episodes twice in the last two years. I’m so glad I have your work as motivation during painting sessions so thank you for that! I will not ask: “OMG why no new episodes” because you surely did more than could be asked by any individual. Just wanted to send you some love.
PS: Congratulations on the wedding and honeymoon. Lily is insanely adorable #randomactsoffacebookstalking
I rebased my Titan-Wargames miniatures on round 25 mm bases. Some troopers, a hero on a Juggernaut (BC proxy) and a lord on a huge lizard (Taurus proxy).
