Hi all - it has been a long time sence I have been in here, with some finish work… But a hobby like this one cost alot, and money is one thing I don’t have alot of these days…
Anyway I’m taking a break from the little fatties, and is going to start my work on a new project for the 40K world of warhammer
I wanna make an army of Chaos Renegades inspired by the video game Silent Hill. A “beautiful” Psychological horror game, using the many fears as well as hunger the human race has.
Anyway I need some help to start, mostly because my GS abilities isn’t so good as I wish they were.
Well my list of things to make is as followed:
The Order’s Soldier:
- Chaos Renegade Militia (from Forgeworld) No conversion needed.
The Order’s Outriders:
- A mix of Chaos Renegade Militia and Death Korps of Krieg’s Death Riders Squad. (from Forgeworld)
Ogryn of The Order:
- Renegade Ogryn Berserker Squad. (from Forgeworld)
Pyramid Head:

- My main concern is how to make the pyramid helm, his great knife/sword is all about finding the right one from another figure. But again the head is what I need help with.
Straightjackets:

- Here I was thinking about using a zombie, and a lot of GS - and just see what happens - advices is always appreciated
Mannequins:

- I want these to have a feminin look, but my first thought was - just gluing two pair of legs together. And use some GS to make them more smooth looking.
Pendulum:

- This one is relatively simply, I hope… I just take a torso and glue the arms onto the back and with another torso, and again hope that some GS can make up the rest…
More to come, such as Leaders. But for now I hope some of you find this little project interesting - and wanna help me with me with my questions…
Anyway cheers to all of you, who just took the time read it :cheers
jolpis:
it looks pretty creepy, missed the movie silent hill but i like the pendulum thing. good luck with your minis!
Grimstonefire:
What would pyramid head be? I’m guessing not a daemon prince. It will help decide the scale.
There is textured plasticard you can buy like that mesh effect, so that would be simple enough, but it all depends on the scale he would be.
This would be a damn cool army btw, but imo it would look better as a WoC one, or even DoC
snowblizz:
I remember seeing a Pyramid Head, made from an Ogre I believe on one of the forums I frequent. But I’ll be damned if I can find it now. Searches are not working well for me.
Kera foehunter:
on the triangle guy i use a human figure from confrontaion there a bigger scale than
warhammer figures or elf from there
straight jacket guys steal some zombi figures from * kera look right then left *
from Vasquez vc army and green stuff the same for the manequins
well good luck

Well you have too see the movie, and thanks - I need all the luck I can get :)

The Pyramid Head might be at an ogre or just standard human size, I'm not sure right now...
Where can I get the textured plasticard, here in denmark - I find it hard to find such items - but if there are any websides, let me know.
If you can give me some good feedback on how this army would look better as an Woc or DoC, I might take a re-look on what system I'll play it at.

Well Kera, can you give me some examples on what figures you might use - then I'll be one hell of a glad "jumping" Goblin :idea
I was going to ask Vasquez for some of her zombies, and maybe gonna try make one - later this week.
Tarrakk Blackhand:
My favorite game series. I never missed a release going back to SH#1 for PS1. Ok…I am missing #5…but I don’t want to fork out $300+ for PS3.
Don’t forget to make the nurses!
I’d try making this a Vampire Counts army though…or possibly Nurgle? It’s a Kool concept, but hard to pinpoint exactly where they should be in the GW world.
Swissdictator:
I could also see this being a Slaanesh army very easily… kinda into the whole BDSM thing…
Nurgle I’m mixed on.
VC I could see. Straitjackets being ghouls, Mannequins skellies, and Pendulums either knights or grave guard. They look like they could be disturbingly fast… and with the ethereal steeds on the Black Knights… it could show how easily they maneuver perhaps.
Kera foehunter:
i say plain zombis mannequins and the hunch back gouls would work well for the strieghtjacket
pluss there weapons could work to make pendulum
so.sad:

Well, a lack of money
AND Forgeworld is not fitting together nicely, don't you think?
as for the pyramid head I did some research. I remembered seeing one in a warseer thread but I couldn't find it until I remembered that it was in a Necron thread.
Few seconds later I found it:
(the guy who made it is called pazshadow on warseer)
He build it from scratch and sculpted the body so perhaps this is a dead end if you don't like sculpting much.
But he did the helmet out of plastic card!
If you need inspiration perhaps look there.
this is the thread. Pyramid Head WIP starts on page 6.
I hope this helped :)
Narflung:
Hmm, the body for Pyramid head could come from one of the C’tan, that would be the right scale wouldn’t it, then all you’d have to do is reposition limbs…
For the record: This is an uber cool idea.
