I knew they posted on the site a couple of months ago the site might go down because of costs, but I thought they were getting that settled out.

Heres the Whole story,
About a week ago, I got a call from a local buddy saying the site was down. after looking into it I discovered that the domain was no longer linked to the webhost. After contacting my host they verified that my domain renewal was sent in and accepted by the nameregistrar (Network Solutions). I then contacted Network Solutions. They originally told me a line about a series of hacks as of late that have been causing problems between them and the webhosts as far as domain linking. (sounded like a convoluted tech excuse). after 4 days of constant calling to get the issue resolved I finally got to a person who said that due to the amount of time elapsed on the issue the domain has been placed into what they call “Redemption” Basically… It should be called Highway Robbery. They want me to pay $160 to get the ritesofwar.org domain out of redemption then… pay $32 a month to keep it. I told them to go p*%# up a flagpole.
Startlogic was very considerate about the issue and gave me another similar domain free… Unfortunately, I haThe Domain is dead… I will have to wait about 6 months before obtaining it again…
Currently due to MYbb ability to migrate domains (or should I say lack there of) the site is buggy as all heck and is proving difficult to repair. All I can say is sorry for the inconvenience while the staff works on getting the site back up to snuff.
The Site is available at http://ritesofwar.startlogic.com for the time being and is buggy as crap… I have been speaking with the staff about moving the site to another software. In which we will end up taking the site in a slightly different direction… Stay Tuned.

I was planning to go on after ctahcing up on here, but if it’s all bugging out, I’ll wait until it’s sorted out. So bloody annoying, considering we’d literally JUST all chipped in to keep the website afloat… Anything I could maybe to do help out?
