River Trolls inhabit the dark fens and marshes of the Old World, and have a reputation of being particularly foul and smelly, none more so than the Giant River Troll Hags. With lank hair, fetid breath and slime coated scaly skin, they are as revolting as they are formidable. Their tough hides are able to heal wounds at an incredible rate and their long loping limbs possess fearsome strength. Attracted by the rotting carrion left in the aftermath of a battle, Giant River Troll Hags and their brethren can be found accompanying armies of greenskins, who are often keen to exploit their brute force whenever they go to war.
Designed by Trish Carden, the Giant River Troll Hag is a multi-part resin model, covered in many details, from assorted creatures and items in the net to a small lobster on the base. It is available to pre-order now and will also be available as a pre-release at Games Day UK in limited quantities. Orders for this model will be despatched from Monday 30th September.
That’s a well sculpted troll. The net is particularly nice. More everyday tools and things, please. Monsters of all kind always look better when one gets an idea how they acquire and carry their food.
boobs on a troll < shakes head> What Forge world does to get young guys to buy the figure. There just like tobacco Co. But it give my troll slayer something to do now
I actually don’t like this mini, amazing sculptor and love some of the other stuff but this one just doesnt do it. At first I thought there wasn’t enough going on but then I thought its a troll hag, what do I want going on!?! It is so cool that gia had her lobster show up, really nice touch too, hats off too Trish.
This in our house will forever be know as Gia's Lobster

Back at the Forge World Open Day I took Gia along and she met Trish Carden. They chatted for a good 20 minutes and at the time Trish was sculpting the Troll Mother (which is what it was called at the time) and Trish asked Gia if there was anything that Gia would like to see added. Gia suggested a lobster.
Several months later and the Troll Hag is released with a lobster on the base.
We caught up with Trish at Games Day to thank her and she presented Gia with a plush Lobster toy as well :)
Gia and I went and bought one of the trolls and we're part way through assembling it.
Officially Trish Carden is our favourite sculptor!
