I won the game with capped (20) VP against a very nice guy! Good start of the day!
Then at lunch break i heard i got nominated with my army for the BPA!
Always nice to get appreciation for the work you do!
Then after the lunch i got to play one of my clients Mechanicum army!
What a game…
Mech is always a tough matchup if you ask me but i managed to pull it off!
Very nice guy, he even helped me with building my army so i could beat him. (haha)
Won that game also with 14 VP.
Last game!
Again against mechanicum, another tough list but again great player and i won again with 16 VP!
So end of the day 3 great games at a very cool event!
And i won the tournament!!!
BPA Went to the player i played last game with his mechanicum, it was the difference of 1 vote!

And i took some pictures of my full army today before putting them back in the cabinet!
Yes, the effect is striking as Carcearion points out. My brother thought that the plasma cell’s white light focus was too sharp a contrast to the darker blue outer cells. Perhaps, but it still looks damn good.
Tasty game shots!
At any rate, have you thought of contacting Forgeworld? This must be one of the very best possible ways of advertising their wares.
Your skill brings out the best of one of the best minature series. To see the Heresy models in rank and file with both their striking colors and rust and dirt is awesome. Thank you for that and the tournament pictures above. There is a Heresy event in my area about 2times a year, too - that is among the best in respect of Aesthetics, modelling and painting.
That’s is like “professional League of Legends player” amount of daily hours. That is honestly quite a lot. Which steps do you take to avoid burn out? It’s very normal when people work for such hours for an extended period of time.
I’ve had friends in animation, etc. who have talked about forcing themselves to work through fatigue and boredom, so I’m guessing that you just sit down and force yourself to do it, like a job, regardless.
At any rate, I’m not surprised you get this much accomplished then Is this your full-time job?
The origins of the Destroyer Squads lay in the conduct of the Unification Wars on Terra in the late 30th Millennium, but surprisingly not with the forces of the Emperor but with the armies of His enemies. Considered dishonourable by some Space Marine Legions who refused to make use of them altogether, the Destroyers were equipped with and expert in the use of otherwise proscribed and forbidden weaponry, including certain weapons of mass destruction like chemical and tactical nuclear weapons. Alongside certain factions of the Mechanicum, only Astartes Destroyer Squads were sanctioned to use such verboten weapons within the forces of the Imperium by the Emperor’s command. Radiation-based weapons, bio-alchemical munitions and the burning horror of Phospex were amongst the components that comprised the Destroyers’ dark arsenal – weapons which irrevocably tainted the ground on which they were used. During the long nightmare of the Age of Strife, such weapons of mass destruction rendered many once life-sustaining human colonies uninhabitable charnel houses.
