And my last update for a while, my first ten assembeled, ready and based Ash Dogs, it’s been quite some time since I’ve had a unit based and ready to paint, and been almsot 2 years since I’ve painted a miniature let alone a unit, well to be fair this is only a fraction of the unit as I’d like at least 30 ash dogs, divided into two groups of 15, or might add on and make two units of 20. Eitehr way they’ve come out, should add some nice contrast to the army as most will be metallics, blacks and fire effects, these units will be purely skin and bone (quite literally in their background too).
So here are my Chaos Dwarf, counts as Hob goblins, blinded war slaves, Derg K’arr U�?Thmo Khemator, The Ash Dogs of the Cindering Pit.
and one with the Despotic Exiled Prophet, Mot Tohrno mounted on his K’daai Hellheart

I have to agree with Tjub about the leg though. The other front leg looks a little off too, but that’s a bit harder to see. You can get away with leaving it as it is - it’s a flaming monstrosity after all, but it’s not true to the shape of a bull. The way the legs are right now makes the model look a bit… leaner instead of stompy? Like a cat or such. Dunno if that makes any sense to you :hat off
@Tjub, I see what you mean by the leg, though tbh at first I couldn’t see what you mean’t but affter looking at some charging bull pictures online i saw the bend, and me being me i couldn’t let it be. I thoughti would have to remake the hwole leg as there are three paper clips drilled in and then greenstuffed over as a foundation on each leg, but with some force i was able to bend it at the right point, and i must say it looks a lot better still needs some attention to fill a gap though, really gives it more movement and and an overal better aesthetic. cheers mate :cheers

@JMR, thanks, i do hope the few conversions make some of my army stand out a little, and liek i said to tjub, the leg is sorted, should really have been paying more attention to bull anatomy when i was making it
Here the pics of the the K’daai hellheart counts as flightless bale taurus with it leg reshaped.
haven’t applied the layer of greenstuff over the remodelled areas as I can’t seem to find the little pot of liquid magic.
and here is a pic of my first wip K’daai, basing it on some fire golem and lava golem images on the net and mainly on a more dwarf like anatomy, still needs a head which will come from a dark eldar talos engine so it looks like an oversized infernal guard warrior. Thinking of making a unit of three including a manburner, haven’t decided wetehr i want my shock unit in the army to be centaurs or k’daai, depending on how nice the centaur sculpts are from warhammer forge.
