The Staff

Dînadan:

Congrats to Ikkred, Admiral and Fuggit. And thanks to everyone who voted for mine.

Jackswift:

Congrats too all the winners out of a strong field. Ikkred: Building blocks of Hashut’s Hall… Brilliant. Admiral, nicely done, yours was the only one I was able to ID the author based on the style. Fuggit and Dinadan’s were also high on my list of favorites. :cheers:hat off

Ikkred Pyrhelm:

:o

When I read the majorly impressive entries this time I didn’t think i’d even get close to bronze. This was an excellent theme and similarly excellent pieces.

Awed thanks to all those who voted for my piece, and many congrats to Admiral, Fuggit, Dînadan, as well as all those who entered, and the competition runners for creating such a compy! :hat off

Malorndk:

Good job everyone! You are all winners to me <3

Abecedar:

Congratulations to the winners and all the other contestants.

Carcearion:

Congratulations guys! I really loved a ton of the entries, we have a lot of really strong writers on the forum. These contests really bring out allot of great talent and material!

Admiral:

There is so much brilliant stuff in these entries. It’s a gold mine for future inspiration, and moreover the sheer quality and creativity all across the board made it impossible to place bets for my part, with one exception:

Fuggit’s entry seemed destined for a medal, since it was not only different and clever in that ancient Homeric way (you die but your name lives forever in song by virtue of great deeds), and not only did it strike a chord with Dwarf ancestor worship, but most importantly it seemed cheeky like only a Hobgoblin can be cheeky next to the other entries. It was a literary stab at its co-participants with a message undermining them all, worthy of the sneakiest git.

Indeed, the sheer wealth of contradictory views brought forth the Chaos in it all. Wonderful turnout!

Fuggit Khan:

Congratulations to the winners…great entries all :cheers

I enjoyed reading them all while I was stuck on a non-stop 18 hour flight to Dubai. And I was fortunate to have saved the stories in a cache file before I left…because I found out the hard way that the CDO website is blocked in Dubai. Yep. No chaos allowed in Dubai apparently :frowning:

My thanks to all of you who entered, it was a great way to pass the time reading them all :hat off

And my sincere thanks to those who voted for my entry too :cheers

Admiral
Would you have expected anything else from a sneaky Hongoblin?
