any guide on hot to sculpt fire around?

i’ve got a vision a crew member with a torch and his beard on fire :hat

I think there is, but I can’t remember where. Most people just slap some GS where you need it, lick a finger and make it into a cone shape, then with a wet pin/needle/knife draw grooves in around it and tease the cone into a fire shape.

I did a small cone of GS and then added a few smaller ones around it before sculpting…
