i’ve just listened to the podcast and it got me thinking about the my recent exploits into casting and i thought about what would be useful to anyone else who’s looking at having a go.
i found one of the biggest problems was finding an actual supplier so i thought it might be nice to have a thread detailing suppliers of the materials for casting.
if everyone else who has experience of buying casting supplies adds the details of websites etc. then the tread could maybe be made sticky as a resource for newcomers to casting.
anyway i got my supplies from http://www.tomps.com/shop/
this is their site but i actully ordered my stuff from their ebay store.
i also found http://www.tiranti.co.uk to be a good site however they where more expencive as the smallest volume they sold was 1kg where as tomps sold in 500g tins
