Hi there,

In this week?Ts newsletter, we are delighted to announce that Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos is now available to pre-order. In addition to this magnificent tome we also have another amazingly detailed character model from the Warhammer Forge team, Lietpold the Black, for you to pre-order too, and for those of you in the UK, there is also events news regarding the IPMS Scale ModelWorld show in November.
Tamurkhan: Throne of Chaos available to pre-order now
The first, and eagerly-awaited, Warhammer Forge book, Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos, is now available to pre-order.

This Warhammer Fantasy expansion book retells the brutal conquests and bloody battles of the Chaos Warlord Tamurkhan and his horde in their quest to attain the favour of the Dark Gods. In this 208 page, full-colour, hardback book you will find the saga of Tamurkhan the Maggot Lord, lavishly illustrated and darkly detailed, an extensive bestiary section and a campaign system allowing you to fight the battles of Tamurkhan?Ts horde in games of Warhammer. Also contained within this book is a fully playable Chaos Dwarf army list ?" The Legion of Azgorh ?" as well as rules for playing massive battles with forces drawn from the different Chaos Army books.

Printed on high quality paper, which presents the full colour artwork with an amazing depth and richness, each page is embellished with many tiny details, revealing never-before-seen vistas of the landscape and geography of the Warhammer world. The hardback, leather-effect binding, embossed with gold lettering, has been designed to emulate the faded binding of an arcane tome, down to the inclusion of the classic red silk-effect page marker.

Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos is available to pre-order now for despatch in the week commencing 31st October, and the first 500 copies of this book ordered online or via our telephone line will be signed by the author, Alan Bligh.

If you?Tve pre-ordered a copy at one of our recent Games Days, you will also receive a signed copy, and your orders will be among the very first to ship out.

Hi, longtime reader, first time poster, played WFB as a kid, but always followed the hobby.

What’s a K’daai? I imagine it’s some kind of fire deamon, is this correct? Are there any images of them? Are they deamons of Hashut?

rabotak:

finally! :cheers

ordered!

concerning kadaii, they are bound fire daemons (of hashut), sorry no pictures yet.

Galladorn:

Ordered mine. Why did I rush to order the book, signed by someone, who was previously mentioned that we know nothing about, and then add on other stuff to make the order worthwhile?

Signed copies… what a great sales gimmick.

What's a K'daai? I imagine it's some kind of fire deamon, is this correct? Are there any images of them? Are they deamons of Hashut?

K'daai are fire-demons in Yakut mythology. Basically these are mechanical constructs created by Chaos Dwarfs and powered by bound fire daemons within ;) Way cool and very fluffy for Chaos Dwarfs. If you look through the Warhammer Forge threads you can find more details. I haven't given them a close inspection in terms of profile/stats put they seem to get an A grade from most of the folks on the site here. The K'daai Destroyer is a gargantuan version that sounds like just a big scary killing machine. Of course now we need models!!

So gratifying…

I wonder if it’ll get here within a week or not?

I suspect not.

Thommy H:

I’d order it, but I have to spend £3,000 tomorrow night.

Norngahl:

Ordered mine few seconds ago… Hopefully I´ll get a signed one! OMG I just can´t wait to get it in my hands!!! What´s more torturing, not to know when such a book is released or to know, that you have ordered it but it will take some days to arrive. I´ll look into my postbox like a child under the christmas tree:)

wallacer:

Whose signature is going to be in the book?

Lord Aldades:

Doesnt start shipping anyways for about two weeks, the letter said something starting the 31st` or such.

Ironclad:

Whose signature is going to be in the book?

wallacer
Alan Bligh's signature will be in the book, he is also the author.

I'm new here by the way so I'd just like to take this moment to say hi to everyone on this forum. It might take a while until I actually get some of the new Chaos Dwarf models but I've ordered the book for now.

Cheers, IC.
