ok this is my conversion for a dwarf taurus its not realy
finished, i went a little to fast getting to paint it so i`ll get back on that.
but getting a first glimps of it what do you all think.
please comment.
i got the dwarf from someone that heard me talking about converting chaos dwarfs and gave me her old dwarfs, but this guy didnt have the taurus so i looked true my old toy box from when i was 7 and found this bull and well you can see the outcome.
i think warlord.
i found these two wings in the store bit box they where two left wings (the two right ones where missing) so i used them for the taurus.
im thinking about resculpting the head and some of the muscle around the legs and the wings need some work too.

kornchild
i hate that !!! i love looking thew bit box at my local store too
i have redone some of the bulls face and have made sure that the wing will have exstra support and so it will look like they realy are part of the taurus,i also redone tail sins it lost most of its fluffyness the horns are made from the old tyranid hermagones bending them just a little.
the next part is to make the mouth more menacing(teeth) and some straps for the dwarf seat.
Its hard to say where this model will end up, but its off to a good start and progressing nicely. I think the reinforcement of the wings is a good idea - adds to the musculature. I think you need to get some detail into the eyes and nostrils, particularly, and also the tail. It should be easy to build onto.
Eyes are easy to do if you roll up some GS (or other putty, preferably BS or ProCreate, maybe Aves, something that dries hard) into a sphere and let it dry. Once its dry, shove it into the socket where its going and then build GS layers around it for the eyelids. Separating the eyes out like this allows you to get the hard edges where you need them.
Looking good! I have wings from the Balrog for sale in my hobby shop. they might end up going to a better cause if I could find a Bull toy myself!
Can't wait to see you refine the details of your GS work!
Tarrakk Blackhand
thanks guys:D
well tarrakk as to the model cow i suggest you try a toy store that sells the SCHLEICH range of animals they even sell a mammoth the size of a mumakil from the LOTR GW kit. the schleich models are made of rubber but they do do the trick for us modelers.
