Very, very nice. A simple, yet effective colourscheme. Makes me fall in love with the classic chaos dwarf models again. Gotta love 'em.
I would try painting the inside of the ends of the blunderbusses black instead of gold though. Hopefully gives the impression that the gun is actually hollow that way.
This makes me want to rethink my own chaos dwarves

Last night i painted this BC.
This one will be the champ in the BC unit.
Also i redone some colors one the old BC’s & redone the bases (40mm x 40mm).Here some pictures from the BC unit.

He done a try with Pit of Shades on the Iron Daemon.
I dint like to take the risk and used the Dispel Scroll.
Shooting :
The 25 High Elf Archers killed 4 IG with BB
CD Turn 2
Magic :
He succeed to dispel Ash Storm on High Elf Archers
unit with his LVL 4 Wiz.
Also he succeed to dispel Flames of Azgoth on the
same unit :).
Shooting :
20 IG BB done 40 shots and killed 6 White Lions.
Note!!! all the dead White Lions are still on the tray.
Because the magnets where to strong and there was a
change the break the figurines.
Magna Cannon misfire (incl reroll from the Daemonsmith)
and only this turn no shooting.
HE Turn 2
Close Combat :
2 units High Elf Dragon Princes (incl General) +
5 White Lions charged the IG’s with BB.
20 IG BB done 20 Stand and Shoot vs the 5 White Lions and killed them.
The 2 units High Elf Dragon Princes and General killed 10 IG BB
Shooting :
The 25 High Elf Archers dint succeed to wound the Iron Daemon
CD Turn 3
Close Combat :
BC charged Eagle and killed him
Iron Daemon charged the Phoenix Guards
(the lvl 4 and his BSB are in this unit now)
Magic :
Again no succes.
Shooting :
After a reroll from the Daemonsmith the Magma Cannon
done a perfect hit and killed 18 High Elves Spearmen.
A misfire again form the Deathshrieker and next turn
no shooting again.
HE Turn 3
Magic :
He succeed to cast Pit of Shades on my unit with
19 IG and my BSB.He killed 15 IG
CD Turn 4
Close Combat :
BC charged the other 17 High Elves Spearmen.
The done 2 wounds on the BC unit.
The BC killed 8 High Elves Spearmen and won the combat.
High Elves on the run and destroyed by the BC.
BSB with the 4 IG charged his Dragon Princes from the flank.
Shooting
Magma Cannon killed 13 High Elves Archers
HE Turn 4
Close Combat :
12 High Elves Archers charged the BSB and the 4 IG.
Still no luck for the High Elves to kill my lvl 4 General.
CD won the combat and the Archers where on the run :).
CD Turn 5
BC unit done a reform and moved closer direction
the Dragon Princes.
Close Combat :
The killed my LVL 4 General and won this combat.
Dragon Princes got a free reform.
HE Turn 5
The Dragon Princes charged the BC unit.
Magic : He succeed to give my BC unit -3 Weaponskill.
Because this i lost the battle but it was a fun battle
Close Combat :
The Iron Daemon killed 12 Phoenix Guards only 8 are left.
The Dragon Princes done 4 wounds on the BC unit and
won the combat. BC on the run and Destroyed by the Dragon Princes.

Sure 8BC and the horde of Ig cost you loads of points but I love to see the irondeamon doing good

On the moment i’m working on a new IG horde unit with Fireglaives.
I’m not happy with the current bases that i have for my CD army.
So i will redo the bases for my army like you see on the photo’s.
I will make beter photo’s when the new IG horde unit is painted .

That’s an expensive way of making fireglaives. I think Kroot find would work well too. I, for one, would be very interested if you sell the IG bodies.
