Superb, always nice to see a proper (big hats) cd army.
Ciao,
Stepper
Admiral:
Wonderful, the first painted Skullcracker on CDO. I like the Hellcannon too, and the Warhammer Forge crewmen with Hellcannon crew tools works well, although I’m a fan of the HC crew.
Shakhorth:
Love the paintjob and bases you made. Looks very realistic!
brotsorrow:
COngrats on your army - old and new. Your painting is gorgeous!!! I have been very curious as to what a mix of old big hats and FW would look like together, and now im not so worried.
Out of curiousity, why did you switch the BC bases from 20x40 to 40x40? Is this the official base size for these models? I ask because in the FAQ it says BCs are treated as cavalry
Zuh-Khinie:
Glad I could help out Horlely
That’s quite the good looking army you’ve got there. I especially love the way you paint your metals on your war machines. Makes 'em look gritty and used.
There’s nothing more sad than seeing tanks (or steamtrains in this case) looking like they just came out of the carwash and on to the battlefield
The_Bear_in_the_Hat:
The bases are superb. I think I’ll steal the design.
Loki:
Great looking army, I really like the golden armour that you have done on your models
The Besieger:
Cheers all
@ brotsorrow : Troop Type for BC are Monstrous Beasts.
I placed the BC on 50mm X 50mm bases because most Monstrous Beasts
are on 50mm X 50mm bases. Also Forge World told to some ppl here on the
forum that this type of bases are correct.
This is the right FAQ on the moment :).

brotsorrow:

I need a K’daai Destroyer for a inc Tournament.
I dint like to spend much time on it for painting.
Because… when the FW K’daai Destroyer is out i will buy that one.
So i done this within a hour (when i dont count the time for drying).
brotsorrow:
Great choice for a destroyer… And nice “quick” paint job
Samanos:
nice destroyer, i especially like the flames, could you please tell me how you did them?
im guessing orange drybrush over red? or perhaps red wash over orange?
Admiral:
It’s a nice enough result for a quick paintjob, and you’ll have two K’daai Destroyers when you get your hands on the FW one. That’s good for Storm of Magic.
The Besieger:
Cheers all
@ Samanos : The flames are very easy to do.
First a layer Foundation: Iyanden Darksun and then a Washes: Baal Red.
This are the old GW paints.
obelix:
yea! great army!
always love to read your battlereports!
keep it up!:cheers
