Xander:

Sweet looking miniatures! Man, those FW Bull Centaurs sure as massive!

Abecedar:

Haha, they look great. Love the one with a furnace stapped to his back! :P

tjub
Me too. They are a good team. One with the furnace and one with the anvil.

Hashoooot:

What rule system are you using for them? Base seems too small for AoS or is it just the perspective? :)

tjub
To tell the truth, I am not much of a player ;) but my tendency would be Mordheim or a similar skirmisher.

Anyway, I thought base sizes were not relevant in AoS? Did I get that wrong?

Hashoooot
Well... That depends on your meta I guess. Among friends sure, you might say they don't. But given AoS2 Id definitely would say bases matter, the norm is measuring base to base etc. For all auras its important how many models are affected etc. All people Ive seen playing AoS now use the basing norm/standard and if you'd go to an event you for sure have to use it etc.

I think the whole base doesn't matter thing was a carry over from WFB. AoS2 now and AoS when it first launched is hardly considered the same game... :hat off

Grimstonefire:

Do they come with an oval base these days?

Hashoooot:

Do they come with an oval base these days?

Grimstonefire
They do, I just custom base my models to fit my theme (and I like circular bases better).

Hashoooot:

Toughest decision in a long time: To forego perfectly good big hats in favor of my current skull cap (and/or mask) theme.

tjub:

Looks good, these fits your style really well. The original hats could always be saved for some future project!

Btw, what is that backdrop?

Hashoooot:

Btw, what is that backdrop? :)

tjub
A calendar page depicting religious art (in this case: masonry in the church Kornelimünster in Aachen, Germany).

Bolg:

loving all the new stuff

and you can see your skill are improving too (:

keep them pics coming

Uther the unhinged:

Lovely bazooka team! Don?Tt worry about the hats they will find a use. Maybe only Sorcerors or hero?Ts are allowed them in your force. I am sure we will see them one day. Please keep it coming.

Abecedar:

Uther the unhinged
That's how I thought at the start of building my Army

Hashoooot:

For the sake of completeness, my Golden Hat entry: A chaos dwarf version of a TOW infantry unit, including a gargoyle ammunition porter and a goblin signalflag handler.

Zanko:

Very cool entry! :cheers

Like the skull-masks a lot!

Zanko
Are they masks though? Or is it their true faces :o :o :o

Reaver of Uzkulak :

Awesome work on these! very thematic and grim. All of the models work really well together. Excellent subtle conversions on the bazooka team that really tie them in with the rest. It’s interesting how even just those changes can really shift the character of the models.

Uther the unhinged:

Dark and gorgeous. The skull look mask/face would fit Zharr Vyxaa perfectly. Lovely work.

Hashoooot:

Long time no see, friends! I’m actually still waiting for two kickstarters to come through, however, thanks to the artisans’ contest, I am able to proudly present to you this fine fellow (in my usual corroded style):

Zanko:

Looks awesome! :cheers
